As a UX designer, I believe in creating meaningful designs that solve real problems. UX is important for any product, and I firmly believe that it can make the difference between a GOOD product and a GREAT product.
I began my UX journey during my undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. While jumping around between majors, I eventually landed on informatics where I learned about UX for the first time during an introductory course. I became fascinated with the process of learning about the user and conducting usability tests on the prototypes I had created. I decided to pursue a B.S. in informatics, with a specialization in human-computer interaction. During my fourth year of study at IUPUI, I applied and was accepted into the accelerated M.S. program for HCI which I graduated from in May 2024.
Drawing from my background in informatics, I strive to create realistic and data-driven designs. The importance of research within my design process cannot be stressed enough as I believe it is important to fully understand the target audience, market, and system that I am designing for. I am always eager to learn more about my audience and discover the “why” behind their interactions with my designs.
When I am not doing design work, I enjoy spending my free time working out at the gym, playing soccer, reading a book, or connecting with my friends in an online gaming session.
